Irving Shredding
Irving was established in 1903 by J.O. “Otto” Schulze and Otis Brown. It is thought that literary author Washington Irving was a favorite of Brown, and, as a result, the name of the town, Irving, was selected. By the late 19th century, the Irving location was the website of churches, two cotton gins, a blacksmith store and a basic shop. By the early 1960s, the city had a population of roughly 45,000.
Many large companies are located in Irving, consisting of Chuck E. Cheese’s, Industrial Metals, ExxonMobil, Kimberly-Clark, La Quinta Inns and Suites, Michaels Stores, Omni Hotels, Fluor Corporation, NCH Corporation, is located in Irving. The city is likewise home to the Boy Scouts of America.
