About The Owner, Mark MacMillan
Mark MacMillan has been a proud franchise owner of PROSHRED® since 1990, originally starting in Nova Scotia before moving to the Tampa and Orlando area. Having personally experienced the hassle of records disposal during his first career at an auto dealership, Mark was intrigued by PROSHRED® 's mobile shredding solution. He quickly recognized the positive impact their convenient and effective services had on the community, and he knew he wanted to be a part of it. Mark was among the first to open his PROSHRED® franchises.
Mark loves the sight of a fully loaded tractor-trailer, filled with bailed and compressed shredded paper, on its way to the pulp mill to be remade into new products. It’s almost as gratifying as witnessing the happiness on his customers’ faces when their offices are freed of unnecessary documents, and they no longer have the burden of securely disposing of their records themselves.
