Event Description
Back by popular demand! This free event is our way of helping you shred your old confidential documents. This helps protect your information from falling into the wrong hands. Sensitive documents can include pay stubs, canceled checks, financial and credit card statements, paid bills, old tax filings, and other documents that may include confidential information such as account numbers or Social Security numbers. Identity theft is a real thing, which is why document security and information protection should be a high priority! So, the Chamber wants to help by providing the opportunity for everyone to securely shred their old documents, while also promoting a safer and greener community for us to live in!
What can be shred: All paper, file folders, hanging files, computer paper, note pads, and envelopes. Staples and paper clips do not need to be removed.
What should not be shred (or needs to be shred separately from paper): 3 ring binders, CDs, DVDs, data tapes, hard drives, microfilm and x-rays.
**Donations are not mandatory to drop-off, but they do help us put on this event every year.
