For all of the US history buffs in the area, this museum is a must-see. The International Civil Rights Center & Museum is full of interesting exhibits commemorating the peaceful 1960 Greensboro sit-ins and memorializing the brave Greensboro Four. Admission is affordable and there are always new events for all ages to enjoy!

2. Greensboro Grasshoppers Minor League

If you fancy catching some great minor league baseball, then take a trip to the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Greensboro’s stadium opened its doors in 2005 and has a capacity of nearly 7,500. It’s a state of the art facility with a kids play park, sports bar, and open-air concourse. 3. Greensboro Science Center

This science museum is a delight for kids of all ages. With an aquarium, zoological park, and 3D theater all in one place, you could spend an entire day here and still not see everything. Head to the prehistoric area and walk with dinosaurs or venture to the ocean tanks to marvel at sharks, stingrays, and tropical fish. Many exhibits are interactive and they are all educational. 4. The Bog Garden

While the bog garden might not sound super attractive, ignore the name and pay it a visit. With seven acres of glorious wetland and a boardwalk from which to view some incredible vistas, your eyes will be in for a treat. Serenity Falls are stunningly beautiful and there is a variety of flora, fauna, and wildlife to discover.

5. Wet ‘n Wild Emerald Pointe

With nearly forty slides and rides, this water park is huge and offers something for everyone. Little ones can enjoy the designated tots’ areas and those bigger kids can take a trip down Dr. Von Dark’s Tunnel of Terror. You can easily spend the whole day at the water park and not get bored. 6. Greensboro Arboretum
