PROSHRED® locations nationwide will once again unite to invite community members to securely shred their personal documents, all in support of a noble cause. This initiative seamlessly blends our expertise in document shredding with our unwavering commitment to fighting cancer.
Honoring a Legacy
Shred Cancer began in 2014, inspired by the resilience of David Wright, a former PROSHRED® franchise owner in Charlotte. David’s courageous battle against cancer and his determination despite the odds inspired the creation of Shred Cancer. This campaign stands as a tribute to David and all those who confront cancer with unwavering determination.Â
Shredding with Purpose!
June is more than just another month; it’s National Cancer Survivors Awareness Month. It’s a time to celebrate victories, remember loved ones, and renew our dedication to the cause. Cancer affects millions globally, and through Shred Cancer, we provide a meaningful way for individuals to contribute. By shredding documents, participants also help shred the stigma surrounding cancer. This initiative fosters awareness and support, paving the way for advancements in cancer prevention. It’s a simple yet powerful way to make a difference, one document at a time.

As communities come together across the country and participate in Shred cancer, they’re not just disposing of documents; but contributing to a larger cause. The funds raised go directly to AICR, fueling their efforts to advance cancer research and preventive measures. With over $200,000 raised so far, Shred Cancer’s impact is significant and far-reaching.Â
