PROSHRED® San Francisco is a locally owned and nationally operated business launched October 1, 2013. The PROSHRED® franchise network (30 strong) has been providing shredding services nationally for over 30 years which allows for amazing and flexible client service as local owners with the infrastructure of a larger company.
PROSHRED® specializes in the secure on-site information destruction of your confidential and sensitive Documents, Computer Hard Drives and Media. PROSHRED® is the only ISO 9001:2008 certified and NAID AAA certified mobile shredding company in the North America holding them to the highest information management security levels.
About The Owner
Michael Thompson is the President & CEO of PROSHRED® San Francisco Bay Area. Michael launched this business in 2013 and is very much hands on as the Owner and General Manager. As an entrepreneur, business executive and investor Michael is driving Proshred to be the leader in Document Shredding and Hard Drive Destruction in the Bay Area.
Previous to PROSHRED® Michael spent 23+ years as a Sales executive in the semiconductor industry with multiple companies….AMD, IBM, Freescale, Motorola and TDK among others. During his career Michael ran multiple global Sales organizations as a Senior Executive (VP & SVP) and spent 7 years abroad in 4 countries as an expatriate.

Michael took it out of the laptop for me and recycled the laptop also. This is an amazing place. When I contacted Proshred, I just wanted better security protocols for my company but what I got was someone who cared about our company. I got the president of the company to contact me directly. He was the one who sent me the estimate, scheduled the time and showed up at my door. He was so cheerful and passionate about his business. And; that is so rare to find. He gave me a brief overview of the protection that my company should have, delivery details and a quick contract. If I have any issues? I have the direct contact information for the President of the company. That is beautiful!!! It is a small business, but it is definitely worth looking into. I love, love, love the fact that I got a response so quickly and my company feels valued.

One the day of the service I was given a window when the truck would arrive and it did so - a little early which was nice - and Todd removed, what took weeks to pile up, within a matter of minutes. Extremely helpful and friendly.An all around excellent experience. They do what they say, when they say they're going to do it, for the price they say they're going to do it for. I eventually got through my files and took a large box of documents to their local office on West Las Positas for destruction. Office location was easy to find, folks inside were VERY friendly and assured us of all the protocol that they go through to protect the contents of the shred. I was very pleased at such a reasonable price too! I would absolutely do all future office document destruction with only ProShred. Thank you for a great experience. We will be back!! read less
